This painting was published as a calenadr print by Bemrose in Derby.
Although just decorative, the calendars became somewhat collectable;
Unfortunately, the inks and papers used were not light fast, so the picture would suffer from fading when exposed to light.

The colour difference is remarkable.
It is usual that the red pigments suffer the most, and first of all;
However, the expense of producing a calendar using light fast inks would not have been a viable option.
