Ray Fuller was a model frequently for Sir William Russell Flint's paintings.
The title 'Ray', was published as an unsigned limited edition and became a sought after image.

In the mid-1950s Sir William Russell flint had been commissioned to produce seven pictures to illustrate memoirs of madame Du Barry. As the majority of these were red chalk drawings published by Felix Rosenstiel.
He continued to further pursue the subject acquiring the assistance of Ray Fuller to act as his model and produce a pair a full water-colour images.
